Job Title: Sales Associate/Warehouse

Job Description: Textbook Brokers is an aggressive, fast growing company. We own and operate college textbook stores throughout the United States and are currently looking to expand our staff. We’re currently seeking ambitious candidates who enjoy working in a team environment, are able to work flexible hours (overtime and weekends periodically), learn and adapt to new environments quickly and have excellent customer service skills. Sales associates at Textbook Brokers are able to adapt quickly between both our retail merchandise and textbook departments. While working as a vital part of our team some of your individual responsibilities will be to maintain the store for each day of operation.

This will include the following: Keeping the store stocked with merchandise • Leading other part-time workers in day-to-day operations • Constant superior customer service and flexibility to the needs of management • Product Knowledge • Quickly learn course information and appropriate learning material • Understanding of retail merchandise and vendor relationships • Effectively answer customer inquiries regarding merchandise or textbooks Customer Service • Actively seek out customers in the store • Offer a friendly greeting, smile, and make eye contact with customers • Show enthusiasm with the customer • When necessary, handle several customers at once • Thank customers for shopping at Textbook Brokers • Follow up with customers via telephone when appropriate

Job Requirements: Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred • Excellent communication skills • Strong computer skills

Opportunity: If a sales associate excels in their performance of their duties, Textbook Brokers will consider them for position in Management as we continue to grow. Hours: 20 + hours per week (Flexibility to work long days during busy seasons and weekends)
